Love the intro and photos! I really need a happy light and love how you pair it with those morning tasks in your routine. I can see that helping me as well.
Thank you, Leslie! Yeah, the happy light is really helpful. I know that both of us are good at finding pockets of sun in our houses to curl up in, but since we're not in charge of the weather, the happy light can help increase the amount of exposure. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts :)
This post has me thinking of winter in all the best “what can I do now to feel like myself later” ways. So good. I also love the happy light 💡! Haven’t tried the over the ear head phones but I’m intrigued. My survival kit would include: an upbeat playlist to shift the mood in the house bc I tend to listen to chill music in the cool seasons which just ends up making me feel sleepy and then resentful that I can’t just chill in my hibernation cave. What else... candles, On Guard in the diffuser, good books (always), tea, twinkly lights.
Yes to twinkly lights! That's a great one. And dude I'm on the same page in need of upbeat playlists that I can tolerate because I am such a chill/quiet/low bpm music person (to help balance the speed of the thoughts in my head)! Please send some my way :) I'm adding a few books you linked to my list bc they look cozy. ::goes to light a candle now::
Love this lovely. And yes lots of room for punditree, and you don’t even need to go out on a limb! Also I need to finish Wintering.
Thank you for reading! <3

What beautiful language in the introduction. I’m also surprised by cooling temps.
Thanks for reading, Alyssa! :)
