Life raft

A poem

This new book, system, routine:
    a bullet journal
    morning pages
    exercise
I take a risk,
start a hobby,
scribble with my left hand.

All of these life rafts, buoys, 
rings tossed at me:
I cling to them for dear life.

Then I remember
that I love 
and already know how 
to swim

and that
     also

                      I can
just

                                    float
